PROJECT DETAILS

PROJECT NAME : Emaar Square Shopping Mall & Residence
PROJECT LOCATION : Istanbul, Turkey
PROJECT GROUP : MALL
PRODUCT BRANDS USED : FİBROBETON® FİBRODECORATIVE®

Renowned teams of architects worked on the design of Emaar Square Mall where Emaar Turkey was the employer and Sera Yapı and TAVSera were the main contractors. Our precast products FİBROBETON® and FİBRO-MULTİFORM® reflected the main concept titled, “ The İstanbul Square” of the Emaar Square Mall which consists of more than 450 shops, more than 100 restaurants and cafes, residential flats, 28 office floors and 180 room-hotels.

Their slogan is, “ İstanbul at once, in a single square”; they bring flats, offices, a hotel, and businesses together in the atmosphere of the city. The project blends İstanbul’s historic and modern identity on its façades.

Residence flats are situated in four blocks. We used FİBROBETON® decorative jambs together with brick claddings at the upper floors of those blocks.

“Our FİBROBETON® and FİBRO-MULTİFORM® branded precast products became the main elements reflecting the concept by blending the modern and historical identity of Istanbul on the façade.”

The lower floors were dressed with shell panels that remind of İstanbul’s traditional quarters like Nişantaşı and Bağdat Avenue.

FİBRO-MULTİFORM® Technology for Landscaping

Flexible precast FİBRO-MULTİFORM® was used in the project’s landscaping areas. The wave form which was planned for the southern façades was extended to the northern façades as well. Car Park entrances were dressed with curled and amorphous surfaces as the project required.

The targeted effect of “warmth” was achieved solely by the materials we used, so as to give people the impression, “To be in an İstanbul street, corner, or square”. We at FİBROBETON® created new solutions for many architectural, aesthetic, and functional needs. We developed different design and installation details for the steel framed panels we used.

“Flexible precast FİBRO-MULTİFORM® was used in the project’s landscaping areas.”
