The İzmir Association building is a corner edifice which has a view of the gulf of İzmir. It is designed as a multi-purpose cultural center that houses conference and meeting rooms, a museum, a library, a restaurant, and spaces for social gatherings.
The building’s design was inspired by a person’s personal development journey in time which is symbolized by “chiseling crude stones”, so we constructed the façade texture accordingly.
The façade surfaces start with stones at the bottom and turn into perfect and reflecting glass at the upper floors, symbolizing the members’ maturation process.
“Heat insulating FİBROFOMBETON® panels on the façade are very resistant because they are placed on steel carcasses.”
Heat insulating FİBROFOMBETON® panels on the façade are very resistant because they are placed on steel frames. The building is located in a spot with heavy traffic. Our precast FİBROBETON® panels were constructed at our plant and were transported to İzmir for installation. The panels contribute to the building’s character and rhetoric. We obtained their rough surfaces by using silicone molds.
