The “Grounded Project”, developed with an interdisciplinary architectural approach, represents Türkiye at the Venice Architecture Biennale. Fibrobeton is among the organizations contributing to this international project.
Reinterpreting the relationship between soil and space, the exhibition offers visitors a multi-layered experience
Coordinated by the Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts (İKSV) and curated by Ceren Erdem and Bilge Kalfa, the “Grounded Project” is being exhibited at the Türkiye Pavilion of the 19ᵗʰ International Architecture Exhibition La Biennale di Venezia. The project interprets the concept of soil not only as a physical element but also as a cultural, ecological, and sociological component.
While the exhibition has been shaped by the contributions of names from the fields of art, architecture and research, it offers a unique narrative that questions the relationship between human intervention and nature. By giving visitors the opportunity to re-evaluate their connection with soil, the exhibition builds a profound narrative by focusing on the concepts of space, environment, and memory.
Continuing to contribute to innovative architectural projects

The company continues to bring together its expertise in building materials with creative projects that develop at the intersection of culture, art and architecture.
Vice Chairman of the Board, Muhammed Maraşlı evaluated this subject as follows: "It is valuable for us to contribute to organizations that provide architectural production and cultural interaction on an international scale. Engaging with interdisciplinary projects such as “Grounded Project” also reveals how our material technologies can be evaluated together with artistic and intellectual perspectives."
